The North Platte Public School Foundation has announced the latest recipients of $8,218 in REACH grants to help fund six student projects.
REACH was established in 1998 to enrich the school curriculum and support programs not in the school's budget, said foundation director Deb Smith.
Since its inception, the program has provided $140,908 in grants.
"There isn't a school or age group that we haven't funded," Smith said. "This program touches all students in our district."
Madison Middle School will receive a grant to purchase 15 Kindles for the Kindle Club.
